Nhân dịp kỷ niệm 30 năm giải phóng

Nhân dịp kỷ niệm 30 năm giải phóng hoàn toàn miền Nam, thống nhất đất nước, Nhà xuất bản Giáo dục phối hợp với Trung tâm Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh tổ chức biên soạn cuốn sách Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh 30 năm xây dựng và phát triển. Tác phẩm này giới thiệu toàn cảnh thành tựu quan trọng về kinh tế – xã hội của nhân dân Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh về các lĩnh vực: công nghiệp – nông nghiệp, thương mại – dịch vụ – du lịch, giáo dục – đào tạo, khoa học và công nghệ, đời sống văn hoá, những thành tựu đặc biệt về an sinh, phúc lợi xã hội, vai trò của Mặt trận tổ quốc và các đoàn thể quần chúng… Nội dung của cuốn sách còn giới thiệu những thành tựu phát triển kinh tế – xã hội của 24 quận huyện trong ba thập nên qua, đồng thời cũng phác họa diện mạo của Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh vào năm 2020.
Để phục vụ đông đảo bạn đọc trong và ngoài nước, sách được biên soạn dưới dạng song ngữ Việt – Anh và có dùng nhiều ảnh tư liệu đặc biệt.
