Cụ thể trong quyết định số 6577/QLD-MP ngày 13/04/2015 của cục quản lý dược Bộ Y tế cũng như trong thông cáo báo chí của cục sau đó có khẳng định: “ Hỗn hợp MCT+MIT theo tỉ lệ 3:1 chỉ được cấp phép sử dụng trong các sản phẩm rửa sạch với nồng độ 0.0015%. Hỗn hợp MCT+MIT theo tỉ lệ 3:1 và có them MIT thì không được sử dụng trong sản phẩm Mỹ phẩm”.
Thông cáo báo chí của Cục quản Lý dược cũng đã khẳng định hai thành phần này không bị cấm.
