Xác định được hiệu quả của Chương trình GDSK tự chăm sóc HMNT trên NB UTĐTT.
Cung cấp thông tin cơ bản cho các Bệnh viện xem xét việc tổ chức chương trình GDSK tự chăm sóc HMNT cho NB trước khi xuất viện.
Thông qua Chương trình GDSK tự chăm sóc HMNT, NB sẽ nâng cao khả năng tự tin trong việc tự quản lý tình trạng bệnh của bản thân, tái hoà nhập cuộc sống (sinh hoạt và làm việc), giảm gánh nặng chăm sóc và kinh tế cho gia đình, cộng đồng và xã hội.
