Theo báo cáo điều tra 7.587 bệnh nhân nhiễm HIV tại 30 phòng khám ngoại trú HIV trên toàn quốc giai đoạn 2005- 2009, kết quả cho thấy tỷ lệ đồng nhiễm HIV và vi rút viêm gan B là 14,2% và HIV và vi rút viêm gan C là 39,6%.
