5/ VAAC là đơn vị đầu mối tổng hợp và đề xuất nhu cầu, điều phối việc quản lý tập trung và phân phối ARV, gồm các nhiệm vụ: (1) Tổng hợp nhu cầu sử dụng ARV của các cơ sở điều trị ART trong cả nước làm căn cứ xây dựng danh mục, số lượng thuốc để đấu thầu tập trung bằng nguồn kinh phí từ Quỹ BHYT. (2) Cân đối tổng lượng ARV mua từ các nguồn viện trợ, mua từ NSNN, mua từ nguồn quỹ BHYT, để lên kế hoạch phân bổ và cung ứng đến tận từng cơ sở điều trị ART trong cả nước. (3) Thống kê, theo dõi tình hình sử dụng, tồn dư, điều chuyển ARV trong cả nước để lên kế hoạch cho niên độ tiếp theo.

5 / VAAC is the focal point for aggregate demand and propose, coordinate the centralized management and distribution of ARVs, including the following tasks: (1) Synthesis demand use of the facility ART ART in the country as a basis to develop the list, the number of medications to tender by concentrating funding from the health insurance fund. (2) The balance of the total purchase ARVs from the aid, purchased from the state budget, buy from the health insurance fund, to plan distribution and supply base until each of ART in the country. (3) Statistics, monitor use, residues, transferring ART in the country to plan for next year.
