Poor Richard's Almanac is an annual Almanac published by Benjamin Franklin. The publication appeared continually from 1732 to 1758. Inhabitants of the colonies using the calendar of the mixture of seasonal weather forecasting; the hint of household articles, puzzles, and other fun that they offer. Poor Richard's Almanack was famous for all of these reasons, and also for its extensive use of puns, with many examples from surviving works by the contemporary American vernacular.
