Bãi chứa vật liệu nên bố trí gần vị trí thi công và phải tập kết được khối lượngvật liệu CPĐD tối thiểu cho một ca thi công.
- Bãi chứa vật liệu phải được gia cố: không bị cày xới, xáo trộn do sự đi lại của các phương tiện vận chuyển, thi công; không bị ngập nước, bùn đất hoặc vật liệu khác lẫn vào.
- Không tập kết lẫn lộn nhiều nguồn vật liệu vào cùng một vị trí.
- Trong mọi công đoạn vận chuyển, tập kết, phải có các biện pháp nhằm tránh sự phân tầng của vật liệu CPĐD.
