Phần luyện tập nói (Speak),bài tập và hoạt động ở mỗi bài khác nhau nhằm luyện tập sử dụng các trọng tâm cấu trúc ngữ pháp, hay từ vựng để diễn đạt các chức năng ngôn ngữ theo các chủ đề và tình huống có liên quan đến bài học.
Quy trình luyện nói bao gồm:
a) Chuẩn bị nói (Pre-speaking)
· Giới thiệu bài nói mẫu
· Yêu cầu học sinh luyện đọc (Chú ý cách phát âm và nghĩa của từ mới)
· Giáo viên dùng câu hỏi gợi mở để học sinh trả lời theo cấu trúc câu.
· Giáo viên yêu cầu bài nói.
b) Luyện nói có kiểm soát (Controlled practice)
· Học sinh dựa vào tình huống gợi ý qua tranh vẽ, từ ngữ, cấu trúc câu cho sẵn hoặc bài hội thoại mẫu.
· Học sinh luyện nói theo cá nhân/ cặp /nhóm dưới sự kiểm soát của của giáo viên (sửa lỗi phát âm, lỗi ngữ pháp, gợi ý từ …)
· Giáo viên gọi cá nhân hoặc cặp học sinh trình bày theo yêu cầu.
c) Luyện nói tự do (Free practice/ Production)
· Học sinh nói về kinh nghiệm bản thân, bạn bè, người thân trong gia đình hoặc về quê hương, đất nước hay địa phương nơI mình ở.
· Giáo viên không nên hạn chế về ý tưởng cũng như ngôn ngữ ; nên để học sinh tự do nói, phát huy khả năng sáng tạo của bản thân.
Để thực hiện mục này giáo viên cần lưu ý một số điểm sau:
· Cần phối hợp sử dụng thường xuyên các hình thức luyện tập nói theo cặp (pairs) hoặc theo nhóm (groups) để các em có nhiều cơ hội sử dụng tiếng Anh trong lớp qua đó các em có thể cảm thấy tự tin và mạnh dạn hơn trong giao tiếp.
· Cần hướng dẫn cách tiến hành, làm rõ yêu cầu bài tập hoặc gợi ý hay cung cấp ngữ liệu trước khi cho học sinh làm việc theo cặp hoặc nhóm.
· Tình huống cần được giới thiệu rõ ràng.
· Có thể mở rộng tình huống, khai thác các tình huống có liên quan đến chính hoàn cảnh của địa phương, khuyến khích liên hệ đến tình hình cụ thể của chính cuộc sống thật của các em.

To achieve this teachers should note the following points:
· Need to coordinate frequently used forms of practice speaking in pairs ( pairs) or in groups (groups) so they have more opportunities to use English in the class in which they can feel confident and bolder in communication.
· for instructions on how to proceed, clarified love bridge assignments or provide suggestions or corpus before the students work in pairs or groups.
· the situation clearly needs to be introduced.
