Trung tâm Kỹ thuật Tài nguyên Môi trường và Biển – RES hoạt động chủ yếu với công tác tư vấn các dịch vụ khoa học công nghệ liên quan đến môi trường bao gồm:
ϖ Lập báo cáo đánh giá tác động môi trường, kế hoạch bảo vệ môi trường
ϖ Tư vấn giám sát và kiểm soát chất lượng môi trường
ϖ Tư vấn thủ tục đăng ký chủ nguồn thải, đăng ký xả thải, giấy phép khai thác nước ngầm, nước mặt, điều tra, đánh giá tài nguyên nước.
ϖ Lập thiết kế kỹ thuật, thi công hệ thống xử lý nước thải , rác thải, chất rắn
Nghiên cứu tư vấn các đề tài khoa học, nhiệm vụ khai thác, sử dụng hợp lý và bảo vệ tài nguyên và môi trường, kiểm soát ô nhiễm, quy hoạch môi trường, bảo tồn đa dạng sinh học,…
