Tính đến thời điểm hết tháng 12/2015, chi nhánh Đông Đô có 135 cán bộ, đa số là trình độ đại học và trên đại học. Từ 15/2/2014 BIDV Đông Đô chính thức triển khai mô hình bán lẻ mới, theo đó cách phân chia tổ chức các bộ phận cũng có sự đổi mới đáng kể. BIDV Đông Đô được tổ chức theo cơ cấu chức năng, gồm: 05 khối với 18 phòng/tổ/quỹ trực thuộc, thực hiện các chức năng nhiệm vụ cụ thể, có mối liên hệ chặt chẽvới nhau để cùng thực hiện mục tiêu chung của toàn chi nhánh và của cả hệ thống BIDV.Đứng đầu mỗi phòng/tổ là các trưởng phòng/giám đốc phòng/tổ trưởng (hiên chỉ còn 1 tổ trưởng, thuộc tổ điện toán), có trách nhiệm quản lý trực tiếp trong lĩnh vực mình phụ trách, đồng thời tham mưu, đề xuất ý kiến lên Ban Giám đốc các chính sách, biện pháp cho hoạt động của bộ phận mình.
