Công ty LG–MECA Electronics được thành lập với cái tên chính thức là công ty TNHH LG-MECA Electronics hải phòng . Nhà máy sàn xuất được đặt ở thành phố hải phòng và các chi nhánh được đặt ở 3 thành phố lớn : Đà Nẵng , TPHCM , Hà Nội.
Sau 2 năm liên doanh xây dựng ngày 5/4/1999 máy điều hòa đầu tiên được xuất xưởng 12/11/1999 máy giăt đầu tiên cũng được xuất xưởng 3/11/2000 sản phẩm tủ lạnh được xuất xưởng trong 6 năm kinh doanh ở thi trường việt nam công ty đã đạt được những thành công và chứng tỏ hàng hóa chất lượng tốt phù họp với thị hiếu người tiêu dùng trong nước va xuất khẩu
