Do các hoạt động sản xuất: Hiện nay trong tổng số 134 khu công nghiệp,
khu chế xuất đã đi vào hoạt động ở nước ta mới chỉ có 1/3 khu công nghiệp, chế
xuất có hệ thống xử lý nước thải. Nhiều nhà máy vẫn dùng công nghệ cũ, có khu
công nghiệp thải ra 500.000 m3 nước thải mỗi ngày chưa qua xử lý. Chất lượng
nước thải công nghiệp đều vượt quá nhiều lần giới hạn cho phép. Đặc biệt là nước
thải các ngành công nghiệp nhộm, thuộc da, chế biến thực phẩm, hóa chất có hàm
lượng các chất gây ô nhiễm cao, không được xử lý thải trực tiếp vào hệ thống thoát
nước đã làm cho nguồn nước bị ô nhiễm nặng.

Due to the production activities: at present a total of 134 industrial zone,export processing zone went into operation in our country there is only 1/3 of the industrial zone, theexport the waste water system. Due to the production: Currently out of 134 industrial parks and
export processing zones have been put into operation in our country, only 1/3 of the industrial zone and preparations
made with waste water treatment system. Many factories still use the old technology, features a
500,000 m3 of industrial wastewater discharged without treatment every day. Quality
industrial wastewater were exceeded many times the permitted limit. Especially water
treatment industry groups, leather, food processing, chemicals containing
contaminants of the high, untreated sewage directly into the drainage system
