Các giếng khai thác nước lưu lượng lớn thường có độ sâu 42m – 65m, cũng lấy nước trong tầng cuội sỏi này. Tại thời điểm khảo sát, mực nước quan sát được tại các lỗ khoan cách mặt đất khoảng 3,5m. Một số lỗ khoan quan trắc nước của tầng cuội sỏi cho thấy tầng chứa nước có áp lực, khi khoan vào tầng chứa mực nước dâng lên cách mặt đất khoảng 13-15m.
