Trong quá trình xử lý, các loại chất thải rắn như mảnh thủy tinh, giấy, rác... được tách riêng để xử lý. Giấy và thủy tinh được tái chế nhằm giảm thiểu tối đa việc gây ô nhiễm môi trường. Ở cuối hệ thống xử lý nước thải, VBL đã xây dựng 01 hồ nuôi hàng ngàn con cá diêu hồng và cá chép để minh chứng cho sự hoàn hảo của chất lượng nước sau khi đã xử lý.
