Các chuẩn đo sự thịnh vượng một cách chủ quan. Chuẩn đo toàn diện nhất trong nhóm này là dự án Nghiên cứu các Giá trị Thế giới (WVS) bao phủ khoảng 70 quốc gia, trong đó có các câu hỏi về mức độ hài lòng của người dân với đời sống hiện tại.
