The standard measure of prosperity in a subjective way. The most comprehensive measure of standard in this group is the world values study (WVS) covered about 70 countries, including the question of people's satisfaction with present life. Starting in 1981, the WVS was conducted according to each "round", and as of now has a total of 6 waves of the research. Another example is the national happiness index used in Bhutan. This standard is calculated based on the thorough study of the level of satisfaction of the inhabitants of 9 areas: prosperity in terms of standard of living, psychology, Government, health, education, community activities, cultural diversity, use of time, and ecological diversity.
