Phương pháp lập giá dự thầu hiện nay, Công ty sử dụng phương pháp lập giá trị dự toán xây lắp dựa trên đơn giá khu vực, các định mức chi phí theo tỷ lệ và các hoạt động lập dự toán do Nhà nước ban hành rồi giảm giá theo một tỷ lệ phần trăm nào đó tuỳ theo khả năng thuyết minh giảm giá và chiến lược kinh doanh của Công ty. Tuy nhiên phương pháp lập giá dự thầu này cũng có một số hạn chế như không phản ánh sát thực chi phí cá biệt của Công ty, giá dự thầu không sát thực với công nghệ và tổ chức thi công, Công ty không làm chủ đƣợc chi phí, không khuyến khích việc tích luỹ thông tin phục vụ công tác quản lý.
