Mặc dù giá lúa mì tăng chậm nhưng lượng tồn kho từ 2016 đã giảm, lượng mua mới đã được xếp hàng từ 15/12/2016-15/01/2017 nhưng chủ yếu DNSX và DNTM lớn, phần còn lại nhu cầu mua nội địa vẫn cần khoảng 5-10k tấn cho nhà máy nhỏ và vừa cũng như DNTM nhỏ.
