Nhu cầu về tuyển dụng đối với lao động trình độ cao đẳng, đại học chỉ chiếm 28% tổng chỉ tiêu, nhưng nguồn cung về lực lượng này lại chiếm hơn 70%. nhưng hầu hết, các lao động này thiếu kĩ năng làm việc. theo phản ánh của các doanh nghiệp tuyển dụng, khi được kiểm tra kiến thức về vấn đề cụ thể thì đểu không biết và thao tác kĩ thuật còn lóng ngóng hơn cả công nhân
“Tỷ lệ thất nghiệp của số sinh viên mới ra trường gia tăng cho thấy sự mất cân đối trong đào tạo, không đáp ứng được nhu cầu thị trường. Dù đã đẩy mạnh tuyên truyền thời gian gần đây nhưng hoạt động tư vấn cho học sinh phổ thông hiện vẫn chỉ mang tính hình thức, chung chung nên khó cho họ lựa chọn ngành nghề”, ông Lê Quang Trung, Phó Cục trưởng Cục Việc làm (Bộ LĐTBXH) cho biết.
