Dự án xây dựng "NHÀ MÁY SẢN XUẤT VÀ LẮP RÁP Ô TÔ – XE ĐẠP ĐIỆN ĐÔNG HÀ" là một Dự án đầu tư công nghiệp và thương mại có mức đầu tư lớn, có tính khả thi cao, được xếp vào một trong các lĩnh vực được ưu tiên đầu tư hàng đầu hiện nay. Dự án ra đời sẽ tạo thêm việc làm cho 200 - 300 lao động địa phương, tăng nguồn thu ngân sách cho tỉnh, đưa ra các sản phẩm mang thương hiệu Việt Nam có tính cạnh tranh cao với các sản phẩm hiện đang phải nhập ngoại và liên doanh, là dự án đầu tiên về công nghệ cao tại khu vực Bắc trung bộ.
