tính đến quí 4, năm 2015, số người có việc làm đã đạt 53,5 triệu người trên tống số 54,59 triệu người từ 15 tuổi trở lên, tức là vẫn còn trên 1 triệu người trong độ tuổi lao đông đang thất nghiệp. đáng lưu ý, trong nhóm này, tỉ lệ thanh niên có trình độ thất nghiệp khá cao với 20% trình độ cao đẳng, gần 21% trình độ đại học trở lên
