Toyota đã đưa ra 5 đề xuất giúp duy trì sản xuất tại Việt Nam sau năm 2018. Đáng chú ý trong số này là các đề xuất giảm thuế nhập khẩu cho linh kiện lắp ráp Nhật Bản từ mức 15-25% theo cam kết WTO xuống 0%; đề xuất giảm thuế thu nhập doanh nghiệp cho doanh nghiệp sản xuất ôtô và đề xuất Chính phủ hỗ trợ cho xe lắp ráp CKD tương đương 50% mức chênh lệch chi phí sản xuất xe trong nước và xe nhập khẩu.

Toyota already offers five suggestions to help maintain production in Vietnam after 2018. Notable among these is the proposed reduced tariffs for assembly components to Japan from 15-25% according to WTO commitments down to 0%; proposed corporate income tax reduction for enterprises producing cars and suggested the Government support for the car CKD Assembly equal to 50% of the difference in cost of production domestic and import car vehicle.

Notable among these is the proposed reduction of import duties for components assembled Japan from 15-25% under the WTO to 0%; the proposed corporate income tax cuts for businesses carmakers and government support proposals for CKD car assembly equivalent to 50% of cost differentials domestic car manufacturers and car importers.
