- Vận đơn chủ (Master Airway bill-MAWB):

Là vận đơn do người chuyên chở hàng không cấp cho người gom hàng có vận đơn nhận hàng ở sân bay đích. Vận đơn này dùng điều chỉnh mối quan hệ giữa người chuyên chở hàng không và người gom hàng và làm chứng từ giao nhận hàng giữa người chuyên chở và người gom hàng.

- Vận đơn của người gom hàng (House airway bill-HAWB):

Là vận đơn do người gom hàng cấp cho các chủ hàng lẻ khi nhận hàng từ họ để các chủ hàng lẻ có vận đơn đi nhận hàng ở nơi đến. Vận đơn này dùng để điều chỉnh mối quan hệ giữa người gom hàng và các chủ hàng lẻ và dùng để nhận hàng hoá giữa người gom hàng với các chủ hàng lẻ.
