Viêm gan vi rút B và vi rút viêm ga

Viêm gan vi rút B và vi rút viêm gan C có chung đường lây truyền với vi rút HIV và đang là một trong các nguyên nhân gây tử vong hàng đầu ở người nhiễm vi rút HIV trên toàn cầu. Tình trạng đồng nhiễm viêm gan B, viêm gan C ở người nhiễm vi rút HIV có thể làm tăng nguy cơ bệnh gan bao gồm cả ung thư gan ở những người nhiễm HIV. Tình trạng đồng nhiễm vi rút HIV/viêm gan đã dẫn đến việc điều trị bằng thuốc ARV cho người nhiễm vi rút HIV càng trở nên phức tạp. Theo các số liệu điều tra ở Việt Nam, trên 50% người nhiễm HIV là người hiện hoặc đã từng tiêm chích ma túy và khoảng 80-90% người tiêm chích ma túy có nhiễm vi rút viêm gan C.

Hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus has spread with the HIV virus and is one of the leading causes of death in people infected with the HIV virus worldwide. The status and HIV/hepatitis virus infection led to the treatment with ANTIRETROVIRAL drugs for people infected with the HIV virus becomes more complicated. According to the census in Vietnam, over 50% of people infected with HIV are currently or have ever injecting drugs and about 80-90% of people injecting drugs have hepatitis C virus infection.

Condition coinfected with hepatitis B, hepatitis C virus infection in people with HIV may increase the risk of liver disease, including liver cancer in people with HIV. According to the survey data in Vietnam, over 50% of people with HIV are present or former injecting drug users and 80-90% of injecting drug users are infected with hepatitis C.
