This product of CHUTE require suitable procedure of fabrication, not the same with profile structures.
Normally we need to add some ring-stiffeners (use PL10x50 or V50…) for some section of chutes and some linear stiffeners during fabrication as well as when loading/packing, these stiffeners to be removed after installation on-site.
Anyway I will ask PM if he can accept your idea of cutting chutes by 2 parts and welding on-site, but in principle fabrication must be go ahead with teams specialized with this kind of structures.
