 PetroVietnam sẽ tránh cho nhân viên khỏi sự trả đũa hay những điều tương tự để không làm ảnh hưởng đến hiệu quả công việc, cơ hội hoặc vị trí của một người đã đưa ra quan điểm, mối quan tâm hay những vấn đề của tổ chức
 Những lời than phiền về sự trả đũa, những lời buộc tội phù phiếm hoặc vô căn cứ làm nản lòng nhân viên trong việc có những hành động và duy trì những chuẩn mực đạo đức mà PetroVietnam mong muốn sẽ được xem xét ngay lập tức và nghiêm túc.
 PetroVietnam cam kết tránh cho nhân viên trở thành đối tượng của sự trả đũa xuất phát từ những mối bất hoà của các nhân viên, người quản lý, đối tác hoặc nhà cung cấp như là một hậu quả từ những trách nhiệm trong công việc mang lại.
