Chiều 27/6/2012, tại Hà Nội đã diễn ra lễ ký kết Thỏa thuận khung về hợp tác và trao đổi chuyên môn giữa Kiểm toán Nhà nước (KTNN) và Công ty TNHH KPMG Việt Nam (KPMGVN).
Tham dự lễ ký kết, về phía KTNN có ông Đoàn Xuân Tiên - Phó Tổng KTNN cùng đại diện lãnh đạo một số đơn vị trực thuộc KTNN; về phía KPMG có ông Uchiyama Hideyo - Chủ tịch KPMG châu Á Thái Bình Dương, ông Yap Chee Meng - Tổng giám đốc điều hành KPMG châu Á Thái Bình Dương, ông Warrick A. Cleine - Tổng giám đốc điều hành KPMG Việt Nam và Campuchia cùng một số thành viên trong ban lãnh đạo KPMGVN.

Thỏa thuận được ký kết với mục đích tăng cường hơn nữa mối quan hệ hợp tác giữa hai bên trong lĩnh vực kiểm toán trên cơ sở bình đẳng và cùng có lợi. Theo đó, KTNN và KPMGVN sẽ hợp tác và trao đổi kinh nghiệm nghề nghiệp thông qua các hoạt động đào tạo, phối hợp tổ chức hội thảo và nghiên cứu khoa học... Chủ yếu là KPMGVN sẽ cung cấp chuyên gia trong nước và nước ngoài hỗ trợ hoạt động đào tạo kiểm toán viên của KTNN về một số chuyên đề trong lĩnh vực kế toán, kiểm toán và giới thiệu các khóa đào tạo chuyên môn tại nước ngoài tới các kiểm toán viên của KTNN để nâng cao kỹ năng cần thiết đáp ứng các yêu cầu mới của công tác kiểm toán. Hàng năm căn cứ vào kế hoạch cụ thể, hai bên sẽ phối hợp tổ chức các khóa đào tạo cho các doanh nghiệp đặc biệt là các doanh nghiệp, tập đoàn kinh tế trọng điểm với các chuyên đề phù hợp nhằm tăng cường năng lực quản lý tài chính, việc tuân thủ các quy định và thực hiện công tác quản lý tài chính hiệu quả, minh bạch. Ngoài ra, KPMG sẽ cử chuyên gia phù hợp tham gia các chương trình nghiên cứu khoa học của KTNN để tham gia ý kiến với Quốc hội trong việc xây dựng chính sách, quy định pháp lý về kiểm toán khu vực công. Thoả thuận được ký kết cũng mở ra cơ hội hợp tác truyền thông giữa hai bên, góp phần tăng cường sự hiểu biết của công chúng xã hội về lĩnh vực kế toán, kiểm toán cũng như hoạt động của KTNN và KPMGVN.

PM 27/6/2012, in Hanoi took the signing of the framework agreement for cooperation and exchange of expertise between State Audit (KTNN) and KPMG Vietnam co., Ltd. (KPMGVN). Attending the signing ceremony, the KTNN has Mr. Doan Xuan Tien Vice General KTNN represents leaders of some subdivisions, KTNN; the KPMG has said Uchiyama Hideyo-Chairman of KPMG Asia Pacific, Mr Yap Chee Meng-Chief Executive of KPMG Asia Pacific, says Warrick Cleine a.-General Managing Director of KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia and a number of members of the Board of KPMGVN.The agreement was signed with the aim of further strengthening cooperative relations between the two sides in the field of audit on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. Accordingly, KTNN and KPMGVN will cooperate and exchange experience through training activities, organizing seminars and scientific research, etc. Mainly KPMGVN will provide domestic and overseas experts to support the training activities of Auditors KTNN on a number of topics in the field of accounting, auditing and introducing specialized training courses abroad to KTNN's Auditors to improve the skills required to meet the new requirements of the audit work. Every year pursuant to the plan, the two sides will jointly organize training courses for enterprises especially businesses, key economic group with topics tailored to strengthen financial management, compliance with the rules and make the financial management efficiencyand transparency. In addition, KPMG will send appropriate experts participating in the scientific research program of the KTNN to join with Parliament in establishing policy, legal regulation of public sector auditing. Signing of the agreement also opens up opportunities for cooperation between the two media, contribute to enhancing the public's understanding of the society in the field of accounting and audit as well as operation of the KTNN and KPMGVN.
