Vào ngày 26 tháng 8 vừa qua, theo hoạt động thường niên, công ty KPMG tại thành phố Hồ Chí Minh và Hà Nội đều đóng cửa để hơn 800 nhân viên của công ty có thể tham gia vào Ngày Vì Cộng Đồng.

Trong ngày này, toàn bộ nhân viên sẽ cống hiến một ngày làm việc của mình để đến các nơi khác nhau, giúp đỡ những số phận ít may mắn hơn trong xã hội, cũng như tham gia các hoạt động bảo vệ môi trường như: giúp xây dựng công trình vệ sinh nước sạch, quét vôi ve tường, sơn cửa sổ và sửa sang phòng học ở trường mầm non và trung học cơ sở tại Đà Bắc, Hòa Bình và trường tiểu học Lạc Tân ở Long An, thăm trẻ mồ côi có hoàn cảnh khó khăn cùng các cụ già neo đơn tại làng Thụy An – Ba Vì và chùa Cẩm Phong – Tây Ninh.

Năm nay, Ngày vì Cộng Đồng của KPMG cũng tập trung cả về vấn đề môi trường khi hàng trăm nhân viên đã giành cả ngày để trồng cây và làm sạch môi trường tại rừng Quốc gia Tam Đảo và trồng cây tại thị trấn Long Hải – huyện Long Điền.
