Năm 2015, giá trị xuất khẩu gỗ và các sản phẩm từ gỗ của Việt Nam đã đạt 6,9 tỷ USD, tăng 10,7 % so với năm 2014. Cụ thể, Trong năm 2015, phần lớn các thị trường xuất khẩu của Việt Nam đều tăng, cụ thể ở Mỹ năm 2015 đạt 2,64 tỷ USD (tăng 18,11% so với năm 2014), Nhật Bản đạt 1,04 tỷ USD (tăng 9,51%), EU đạt 764 triệu USD (tăng 3,91%). Với đà tăng trưởng như hiện tại, trong năm 2016 này, nhu cầu tiêu thụ đồ nội thất trên thế giới tiếp tục tăng.
