Đề tài được nghiên cứu trên một lĩnh vực đặc thù là ngành điện và tại một đơn vị cụ thể là Điện lực Vĩnh Long. Vì vậy kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ phản ánh được phần nào trong một lĩnh vực chuyên môn, một địa phương nhất định.
Số lượng người được khảo sát chưa nhiều 100 mẫu trên tổng số nhân viên trong công ty là 327 nhân viên chỉ chiếm khoảng 33,3%.
Thời gian để khảo sát và nghiên cứu đề tài tương đối ngắn.
Các số liệu đều do Điện lực Vĩnh Long cung cấp và gặp nhiều hạn chế trong việc tìm kiếm các số liệu của nhiều năm về trước do quá trình lưu trữ không được tốt gây thất thoát.
