Trong các tình huống khẩn cấp, thay vì gọi riêng các đầu số 113, 114, 115 như hiện nay, người dân TP.HCM có thể chỉ cần bấm số 114.
Sở TT&TT TP.HCM mới đây đã trình UBND TP văn bản về việc hoàn chỉnh đề án xây dựng trung tâm tiếp nhận và xử lý thông tin khẩn cấp, cứu nạn cứu hộ của TP, thông qua một đầu số viễn thông.
Theo đề xuất của Sở TT&TT, thay vì phải gọi riêng biệt các tổng đài 113 (khẩn cấp các vấn đề an ninh trật tự), 114 (báo cháy, cứu nạn, cứu hộ), 115 (cấp cứu y tế), người dân thành phố chỉ cần gọi một số 114 duy nhất. Trung tâm thông tin chỉ huy 114 thuộc Cảnh sát PCCC TP.HCM sẽ tiếp nhận tất cả các thông báo khẩn cấp của người dân và chuyển về các lực lượng liên quan để ứng cứu.
