Phó Chủ tịch nước gặp mặt 20 cặp vợ chồng khuyết tật tiêu biểu

Nhân Ngày Gia đình Việt Nam (28/6), chiều 27/6, tại Phủ Chủ tịch, Phó Chủ tịch nước Nguyễn Thị Doan đã buổi gặp mặt, động viên 20 cặp vợ chồng khuyết tật tiêu biểu của 13 tỉnh, thành phố.

Mặc dù các cặp vợ chồng này có hoàn cảnh khác nhau, dạng tật khác nhau, nhưng đều có điểm chung là trong muôn vàn khó khăn, họ vẫn biết vun đắp tình yêu, gìn giữ hạnh phúc gia đình, nuôi con cái khỏe mạnh, thành đạt.

Tại buổi gặp mặt, đại diện các cặp vợ chồng khuyết tật đã kể lại những câu chuyện cuộc đời nhọc nhằn, gian khó của mình, để có hạnh phúc hôm nay.

Phó Chủ tịch nước Nguyễn Thị Doan đánh giá cao sự phấn đấu, nỗ lực vượt khó, xây dựng gia đình hạnh phúc của các cặp vợ chồng khuyết tật.

Phó Chủ tịch nước chia sẻ: “Tôi thấy họ là những người hết sức dũng cảm, tự tin, vượt lên số phận. Họ đã vươn lên để nuôi mình, nuôi gia đình, chăm só…. Họ rất lạc quan và chính từ lạc quan, niềm tự tin ấy, họ luôn nhớ lời dạy của Bác Hồ là “tàn nhưng không phế”, và họ đã làm nên được những điều đáng khâm phục”.
