TỐT bắt quân đối phương theo đường chéo bên trái về phía trước một ô.

hoặc đường chéo bên phải về phía trước một ô.

TỐT không được bắt quân đối phương theo đường thẳng trước mặt hoặc theo đường ngang (trừ trường hợp bắt tốt qua đường).
