Đến nay, Thành phố có 54/56 xã đạt chuẩn và 03 huyện, gồm Củ Chi, Hóc Môn và Nhà Bè được Thủ tướng Chính phủ phê duyệt quyết định công nhận huyện đạt chuẩn nông thôn mới.
