Mário Zagallo and Franz Beckenbauer are the two people at the same time World Cup as player and coach. Zagallo won in 1958 and 1962 when they were played and in 1970 when it moved to the coaching staff. Beckenbauer won in 1974 as captain and West Germany in 1990 as the directing team. Also the Italian national coach Vittorio Pozzo is the only person ever to twice win the directing Chair.
