Mới đây, CTCP Tập đoàn Hòa Phát (HPG) công bố gia nhập thị trường tôn mạ với quyết định đầu tư dự án Nhà máy sản xuất tôn mạ màu Hòa Phát tại KCN Phố Nối A, Hưng Yên, công suất 400.000 tấn/năm. Dự kiến nhà máy bắt đầu khởi công từ tháng 5/2016, hoàn thành sau 18 tháng và đưa vào hoạt động vào đầu năm 2018.

Đánh giá về điều này, CTCK HSC cho rằng Hòa Phát sẽ cạnh tranh trực tiếp với Hoa Sen tại thị trường phía Bắc khi “đại gia” ngành tôn mạ này đang có tham vọng ngày càng lớn tại đây.
