1.2 Mục tiêu đối tượng và phạm vi nghiên cứu:
1.2.1 Mục đích nghiên cứu đề tài :
Thông qua việc nghiên cứu lý luận chung về quản trị chiến lược phân tích thực trạng chiến lược phát triển tại ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á, đồ án nghiên cứu đề xuất những giải pháp, nhằm hoàn thiện chiến lược phát triển tại ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á.
Để đạt được mục tiêu trên, đồ án cần thực hiện 3 nhiệm vụ sau:
Nhiệm vụ thứ nhất:
Nghiên cứu, tìm hiểu các công cụ lý thuyết mà ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á đang áp dụng.Sử dụng mô hình Delta Project và Bản đồ chiến lược để đánh giá chiến lược của đơn vị này.
Nhiệm vụ thứ hai:
Khảo sát thực tiễn, tìm hiểu số liệu hiện tại của đơn vị này đã phù hợp với tình hình và điều kiện thực tế hay chưa? Trong một số trường hợp cần thiết, tôi sẽ tiến hành tự khảo sát tại đơn vị này, phỏng vấn một số cán bộ lãnh đạo đơn vị, đồng thời tham khảo thêm các ý kiến thảo luận nhóm trong bài viết của mình, qua đó đưa ra những nhận xét khách quan về chiến lược phát triển của ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á
Nhiệm vụ thứ ba:
Trên cơ sở các kết quả nghiên cứu, tôi sẽ đánh giá chiến lược của đơn vị này, chỉ ra điểm mạnh, điểm yếu để đề xuất cải tiến chiến lược phát triển của ngân hàng Đầu tư và Phát triển Việt Nam từ 2015 đến năm 2018.
1.2.2 Đối tượng và phạm vi nghiên cứu của đề tài:
Đối tượng nghiên cứu của đồ án là chiến lược phát triển tại ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam
Phạm vi nghiên cứu: tại ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á về thời gian từ năm 2011 đến năm 2015
1.3 Kết quả dự kiến:
Mô tả được thực trạng chiến lược của ngân hàng thương mại cổ phần Đông Nam Á bằng các công cụ cơ bản: Mô hình Delta Project, Bản đồ chiến lược và các công cụ h trợ khác.

Xây dựng được chiến lược của ngân hàng thương mại cổ phần Đông Nam Á đến năm 2018 qua các công cụ Quản trị chiến lược đã nghiên cứu.
Trình bày một cách tổng quát, khoa học, kế hoạch thực thi chiến lược của ngân hàng thương mại cổ phần Đông Nam Á đến 2018 một cách hiệu quả nhất.

Chương 3: Phương pháp nghiên cứu
Chương 4 : Phân tích chiến lược hoạt động hiện thời của ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á.
Chương 5: Đánh giá các chiến lược hiện tại của ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á.
Chương 6: Đề xuất Xây dựng chiến lược ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á giai đoạn 2015 – 2018.
