Ở các đô thị lớn, số lượng người sử dụng Internet có trình độ học vấn cao hơn so với các địa phương khác. Một phần ba số người sử dụng Internet là sinh viên học sinh. Nhìn chung, 70% người sử dụng Internet là bộ phận trí thức, nhân viên văn phòng, còn lại là công nhân, nội trợ, tiểu thương buôn bán nhỏ, chủ cửa hàng…
