dự án Nhà máy sản xuất tôn mạ màu Hòa Phát tại KCN Phố Nối A, Hưng Yên, công suất 400.000 tấn/năm. Dự kiến nhà máy bắt đầu khởi công từ tháng 5/2016, hoàn thành sau 18 tháng và đưa vào hoạt động vào đầu năm 2018. Thị trường tôn mạ kẽm/mạ lạnh và sơn màu của Việt Nam với sản lượng tiêu thụ hàng năm khoảng 2,5~2,8 triệu tấn. Hiện tại, năng lực sản xuất của tất cả các nhà máy đang hoạt động là khoảng 3,2~3,5 triệu tấn/năm. Hầu hết các nhà máy đều đặt tại khu vực phía nam như: Nhà máy tôn Hoa sen tại Bình Dương và Phú Mỹ, Nhà máy tôn Nam Kim và tôn Đông Á đều đặt tại Bình Dương, ngoài ra các nhà máy khác như TVP, TVC, Tôn Phước Khanh, … cũng đều đặt tại phía Nam.
