Hiện tổng lượng lao động ngành du lịch trên địa bàn thành phố Đà Nẵng gần 14.000 người, song tỉ lệ lao động được đào tạo đúng chuyên môn về du lịch chỉ chiếm 40,6%. Đáng lưu ý hơn, số lao động có trình độ ngoại ngữ chỉ chiếm 38% trong tổng số lao động du lịch trên toàn thành phố.
