Trên cơ sở báo cáo đánh giá hồ sơ dự thầu của tổ chuyên gia xét thầu, phòng ban được phân công hoặc hội đồng thẩm định kết quả xét thầu (nếu có) có thể tiến hành thẩm định lại kết quả xét thầu. Báo cáo thẩm định phải đầy đủ, chi tiết và có thể bao gồm những nhận xét sau:
 Đồng ý.
 Đồng ý một phần.
 Không đồng ý.
Chuyên viên thẩm định có thể tổ chức họp với tổ chuyên gia đấu thầu để làm rõ các ý kiến khác nhau của các thành viên tổ chuyên gia đấu thầu (khi có ý kiến bảo lưu). Các nội dung trao đổi cần phải được ghi lại đầy đủ vào biên bản làm việc.
Sau khi có kết quả thẩm định, phòng dự án lập tờ trình phê duyệt báo cáo đánh giá hồ sơ dự thầu (BM/DA-04-10), trình Tổng Giám đốc hoặc Chủ tịch Hội đồng Quản trị phê duyệt
