Mặc dù tổng chi phí là một con số khá lớn nhưng đó chỉ là việc tăng tổng tài sản của Tập đoàn để giúp cho quá trình sản xuất và hoạt động kinh doanh tốt hơn. Mức lợi nhuận trên doanh thu của Tập đoàn vẫn tăng đều qua các năm và đạt được 12.75% tại 2015.
Tóm lại qua 5 năm từ 2011 đến 2015 tuy có một số khó khăn trong việc quản lý lợi nhuận nguồn thu cũng như khoản lỗ của công ty liên kết khác nhưng với doanh thu tăng ổn định đều và vốn chủ sở hữu tăng mạnh trong các năm thì HPG sẽ mãi vững bước tiến xa trên thị trước trong nước và mang tầm thế giới
