Để triển khai thực hiện dự án "Phát triển kinh tế vùng" (PBEG), Tổ chức JICA đã chính thức đến Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu để khảo sát và tìm hiểu về tình hình chuẩn bị xây dựng KCN chuyên sâu về công nghiệp hỗ trợ dành cho các DN Nhật Bản. Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu hiện có 3 địa điểm ưu tiên xây dựng KCN chuyên sâu, là KCN Phú Mỹ III, B1 - Tiến Hùng và B1 - Đại Dương để thu hút đầu tư ngành công nghiệp hỗ trợ. Sáng ngày 20/06/2016, ông Kazama Toshio, giám đốc điều hành Khu công nghiệp chuyên sâu Phú Mỹ 3 đã có buổi tiếp xúc và làm việc với tổi chức JICA.
Được biết, KCN Phú Mỹ 3 đã được tỉnh BR-VT lựa chọn để phát triển thành KCN đặc biệt thu hút các nhà đầu tư Nhật Bản. Đây là KCN do Công ty CP Thanh Bình - Phú Mỹ làm chủ đầu tư, có tổng diện tích 999ha, gồm 4 phân khu chính: KCN đa ngành và công nghiệp hỗ trợ; KCN nặng; Khu cảng và logistics; Khu dịch vụ tiện ích. Với vị trí địa lý chiến lược và kết nối giao thông đặc biệt thuận lợi như: Kết nối với cảng nước sâu Cái Mép - Thị Vải và quốc lộ 51, đường cao tốc Biên Hòa - Vũng Tàu, KCN Phú Mỹ III có tiềm năng và điều kiện thuận lợi trong việc cung cấp, vận chuyển hàng hóa, đồng thời đẩy mạnh các hoạt động thương mại quốc tế.
Trong buổi tiếp xúc, tổ chức JICA đánh giá KCN Phú Mỹ III sẽ sớm trở thành trung tâm thu hút ngành chế xuất vật liệu cơ bản và logistics cho toàn vùng kinh tế trọng điểm phía Nam.

To implement the project "economic development department" (PBEG), JICA has officially to BA RIA-Vung Tau province to survey and find out about the situation of preparation of intensive INDUSTRIAL ZONE construction for industry support for the Japanese GOV'T. Ba Ria-Vung Tau province currently has 3 priority locations to build advanced INDUSTRIAL PARK , is the Phu III, B1-B1 and-Ocean to attract industry investment support. On the morning of June 20, 2016, Mr. Toshio Kazama, Executive Director of the advanced Phu industrial zone 3 had contact and work with JICA officials i'il take care. Reportedly, Phu 3 were the BR-VT option to develop the special INDUSTRIAL ZONES to attract Japanese investors. This is the INDUSTRIAL PARK by the Peaceful joint stock company Phu-invested, has a total area of 999ha, consisting of 4 main areas: INDUSTRIAL ZONES in polyphyletic and industry support; Heavy INDUSTRIAL ZONE; Port and logistics; Utility service area. With a strategic geographical location and special transportation advantages as: connect with CAI MEP deepwater port-Fabric A and highway 51, highway bien Hoa-Vung Tau province, Phu III have potential and favorable conditions in the delivery, freight, and promote international trade activities.During the exposure, JICA reviews Phu III will soon become the center of attraction of the basic material industry and logistics for the whole of the southern key economic region.
