• Philippines là một trong số ít nước mà Việt Nam xuất siêu. Từ năm 2008, mỗi năm Việt Nam xuất siêu hơn 1 tỷ USD sang Philippines, lớn nhất trong khối ASEAN, chủ yếu là xuất khẩu gạo. Gạo là mặt hàng chủ lực của Việt Nam xuất sang Philippines trong nhiều năm qua, chiếm 50-60% kim ngạch xuất khẩu; khoảng 1,5 triệu tấn/năm. Ngoài gạo, Việt Nam xuất cho Philippines linh kiện điện tử và hàng nông sản và nhập của Philippines chủ yếu là phân bón, máy móc thiết bị phụ tùng, khoáng chất, khí hóa lỏng, xăng dầu, dược phẩm, vật liệu xây dựng...
