Trung tâm Việt-Đức được thành lập ngày 01/12/1993. Trung tâm ra đời để quản lý và tổ chức thực hiện Dự án đào tạo công nhân lành nghề và giáo viên dạy nghề ở Trường đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật Tp. Hồ Chí Minh do Bang Baden-Württemberg, CHLB Đức tài trợ. Đây là một dự án lớn của nước ngoài dành cho một đơn vị đào tạo với tổng giá trị tài trợ của phía bạn là 12,4 triệu DM.

Vietnamese-German Centre was established on 01/12/1993. The birth center to manage and organize the project for training skilled workers and teachers in vocational technical college in Ho Chi Minh City by the State of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
