Như được thông kê, cây ngô được xem là một trong những cây ngũ cốc và lương thực quan trọng đứng thứ hai ở việt nam. Ngô là loại cây trồng trong ngắn ngày và sống được trên nhiều loại đất nhưng vẫn chúng ta vẫn cần lưu ý đến kỹ năng trồng cây.
Thứ nhất, cách chọn giống rất quan trọng cho việc sản xuất cây trồng. Nếu giống tốt thì sẽ sản xuất ra những trái ngô chất lượng. Và tuỳ vào mục đích sử dụng thì người dân chọn giống cây trồng. Tiếp đến, những người dân đòi hỏi có chuyên môn trong việc xử lý giống. Họ cần nắm rõ những thông tin liên quan đến độ nảy mầm của hạt giống hay cách xử lý hạt bằng thuốc xuất khuẩn để diệt nấm. Cách gieo hạt cũng rất quan trọng vì nếu hạt không được gieo đồng đều, khi cây phát triển sẽ thiếu chỗ cho việc tiếp nhận ánh sáng hay dinh dưỡng. Để cây phát triển tốt thì phân bón là một trong những yếu tố mang lại hiệu quả cao. Một yếu tố trong thể thiếu chính là nước. Để đảm bảo được độ ẩm cho cây trồng, người dân phải luân phiên tưới nước trong chu kỳ để đảm bảo cung cấp đủ nước cho cây. Theo ý kiến của tôi, họ nên trang bị những loại máy móc để giúp họ trong việc sản xuất. Ví dụ như, thay vì đi từng luống ngô để tưới thì họ có thể dùng máy tưới nước tự động. Họ sẽ bớt vất vả, mệt mỏi, tiết kiệm được sức và thậm chí là tiết kiệm thời gian.
