Vì thế, việc hỗ trợ phát triển kinh tế, tạo việc làm, tăng thu nhập đã trở thành một mục đích hoạt động của hội phụ nữ thành phố trong những năm qua. Với sự giúp đỡ của các cấp ủy đảng và chính quyền, nhiều mô hình phát triển kinh tế gia đình được áp dụng và mang lại hiệu quả kinh tế cao, giúp chị em thoát nghèo.
