Trong quá trình triển khai việc quản lý dự án đầu tư và kinh doanh khai thác hạ tầng kỹ thuật khu công nghiệp hoặc khu dân cư…, các trưởng phòng ban có liên quan có trách nhiệm kiểm tra, xem xét kết quả công việc của cán bộ nhân viên thuộc phòng ban, dự án mình phụ trách theo đúng quy định trong các quy trình tương ứng.
Khi phát hiện những sản phẩm hoặc dịch vụ không phù hợp hay không đạt yêu cầu, các trưởng phòng ban phải yêu cầu cán bộ nhân viên có liên quan sửa chữa, làm lại hoặc loại bỏ theo đúng yêu cầu, thực hiện theo đúng quy định, sau đó phải kiểm tra lại các công việc đó xem có đạt yêu cầu hay không mới cho phép thực hiện các bước tiếp theo. Cách thức kiểm soát và xử lý các điểm không phù hợp liên quan đến từng hoạt động, từng quá trình trong hệ thống quản lý chất lượng của công ty được quy định chi tiết trong mỗi quy trình tác nghiệp tương ứng.
Bằng chứng về việc kiểm tra, xem xét (ý kiến nhận xét, chỉ đạo của lãnh đạo, phương pháp và kết quả thực hiện việc xử lý sản phẩm hoặc dịch vụ không phù hợp) phải được các phòng ban và cán bộ nhân viên thực hiện công việc đó lưu trữ đầy đủ.
