The regulations on the management of credit by the Bank will usually influence directly to credit operations of the Bank, such as the rules on the rate of use of short-term capital to long-term lending. This is in line with the results of (Francis & Osborne, 2009), the authors found that the capital requirements set forth by the Bank's regulations have a direct impact on the result of lending operations.
