tôi sinh ra và lớn lên trên lãnh thổ Việt Nam. Có lẽ chính vì thế mà hạt gạo đã trở thành một phần cuộc sống của tôi cùng với những món ăn truyền thống mang đậm màu sắc dân tộc như: thịt kho, khổ qua hầm, bánh tét, bánh chưng, bánh mì VN... Từ lâu đã dần trở nên quen thuộc và gắn bó với cuộc sống. Tuy nhiên, khi ăn một số món ăn như: thịt nướng Hàn Quốc, lẩu Thái hay SuShi thì cảm thấy không hợp khẩu vị cho lắm và khá nhạt nhẽo. Vì đặc điểm công việc, tôi không có nhiều thời gian cho việc chế biến nên phần lớn tôi hay ăn các món được chế biến sẵn ở ngoài tiệm. Người Việt Nam, thường có 2 ngày Tết trong 1 năm, 1 lễ lớn và 1 ngày Tết của dân tộc. Và vào những ngày lễ đặc biệt ấy, người Việt hay chế món những món ăn truyền thống dâng lên cúng cho thần linh. Mỗi khi nhìn thấy khung cảnh mọi người trong gia đình quây quần với nồi bánh chưng. Tôi dường như cảm thấy rất ấm lòng và rất hạnh phúc khi được trở về chính gia đình của mình.Và cảm thấy rất tự hào là vì có một nền ẩm thực riêng, một màu sắc riêng.
