Khi xảy ra tổn thất, Bên A phải lập tức thông báo cho Bên B (cần đảm bảo rằng Bên B nhận được thông báo trong vòng 14 ngày kể từ ngày xảy ra tổn thất) và thực hiện các biện pháp cần thiết và hợp lý nhằm giảm thiểu tổn thất, đồng thời bảo quản, duy trì những bộ phận bị thiệt hại và sẵn sàng để Bên B hoặc Công ty giám định độc lập do Bên B chỉ định giám định các tổn thất đó. Phối hợp với Bên B và cung cấp cho Bên B các tài liệu, chứng cứ, các giấy tờ liên quan để hoàn tất hồ sơ yêu cầu bồi thường
